For the past several years i had so many ideas and so many concepts that i wanted to work on that i came to a crossroads. Each part of that crossroads led to something completely different and it was a confusing time where i was going and traversing each of these avenues could potentially go somewhere new. I decided again to step back from my music for nearly two years as i concentrated on my children and to my minds view to concentrate on the rest of my life!!
I was out with both my beautiful daughter (Derran) and my Fiance "Sarah" having a day out and something suddenly hit me which was brought on by what my daughter had said to me earlier in the morning about one of her school projects. It was a "Eureka" moment and it suddenly dawned on me that i wasn't thinking outside of the box enough. That evening i started writing down ideas about where i was going next!!
That evening I went in to the back garden and sat there with a glass of wine, i laid back and looked up to the "Sky", well more than that, space is a vacuum, meaning that sound cannot carry and that was my moment.
They say that molecules are not close enough together to transmit sound between them.
It was that moment that i started working on what i perceive as a new trip, a new concept in music through both progressive house and "DnB" (Drum n Bass) and i have called them
CONSTELLATIONS given that we live under time and space.
